GrindingHub 2022

Successful premiere of the GrindingHub

The UNITED GRINDING Group presented a series of world premieres at the GrindingHub 2022. Among other things, a new cylindrical grinding machine (STUDER S36), a new loading system (STUDER uniload), a tool grinding machine (WALTER HELITRONIC G 200) and – as an extension of the Group’s machine portfolio – a revolutionary additive machine tool for manufacturing metallic components using "3D printing" (IRPD IMPACT 4530).

Thank you very much for your visit – and we are looking forward to the next edition of GrindingHub: May 14 - 17, 2024 in Stuttgart.

S33

The S33 is a CNC universal cylindrical grinding machine for small to large workpieces. It has a distance between centres of 400mm (15.7") / 650mm (25.6") / 1,000mm (40") / 1,600mm (63") and a centre height of 175mm (6.9"). It can machine workpieces with a maximum weight of 150kg (330lbs).

S31

The S31 is a cylindrical grinding machine for small to large workpieces It has a distance between centres of 400mm (15.7") / 650mm (25.6") / 1,000mm (40") / 1,600mm (63") and a centre height of 175mm (6.9"). It can machine workpieces with a maximum weight of 150kg (330lbs).

S41

The S41 is a CNC universal cylindrical grinding machine for large workpieces. It has distances between centres of 1000mm (40") / 1600mm (63") and centre heights of 225mm (8.8") / 275mm (10.8"). It can machine workpieces with a maximum weight of 250kg (550lbs).

S36

The S36 was in part designed to respond to increasing demand for e-mobility production solutions. It has a center distance of 650 mm, a center height of 225 mm, and a grinding wheel diameter of 610 mm.

S131 Radius

The S131 is a radius internal cylindrical grinding machine that is especially suitable for grinding complex workpieces from very hard materials The maximum swing diameter is 300mm (11.7") and the maximum workpiece weight is 100kg (220lbs).

The LASER LINE PRECISION laser processing machine handles ultra-hard materials such as PCD, CVD-D, CBN and MKD by laser. It can accommodate rotation-symmetric tools of up to 200 mm in diameter and up to 250 mm in length and indexable inserts from 3 mm internal and up to 50 mm external diameter.
